Bamboo Flushable Nappy Liners / Wet Wipes - packet of 100
Our flushable bamboo liners are 100% biodegradable and compostable, which means they are safe for the environment and the all-natural bamboo fibres are perfect on bub’s sensitive skin.
The flushable liners are designed to be placed inside the nappy, next to the baby's skin. The liner will stop any solids, but allow moisture to pass through and be absorbed by the inner materials. When soiled, place poo and liner into the toilet. Ones that have only been wet (no poo) can be re-used, rinse them out under the tap or a quick rinse in a tub of water, and hang out to dry.
Note: Bamboo liners are not suitable for septic toilet systems. If you have a septic toilet system, discard poo in the toilet, then dispose of liner in rubbish or compost.
Our liners measure 18cmx 30cm to fit most modern cloth nappies. The liner can be cut in half for smaller babies, but please do not fold liners or use multiple sheets as this will prevent quick absorption by the cloth nappy.
Liners are also recommended when using Nappy Rash creams like Curash, Sudocream & Bepanthen, as these will create a barrier on your nappy that can be difficult to remove, therefore minimising your nappies life.
I have had customers ask me about the environmental / waste management impact of flushing these liners, and there is currently no research available that shows that these have any impact different to any other flushable products such as wet wipes, tissues and toilet paper. As you will only be using one liner at a time, and therefore only flushing one when it has poo, they won't be getting flushed enough to cause any more problems than any other flushable product.
These liners can certainly help make using cloth nappies easier and help maintain the quality of your nappies for longer, meaning that you are truly getting the best value for your money.
Our liners can also be used as eco-friendly, chemical free baby wipes! Cut the liners to the size you need, wet them and use as needed. Rinse & reuse or throw away.
